The Old Spaghetti House

One dinner time in Paseo de Sta. Rosa with Minay.

Minay and Bea while waiting for the food to be served.

Happy to sit and relax after walking around the different outlet stores of Sta. Rosa business park.

For Minay, it was too many food for her soo little tummy. :)

Breakfast @ Antonio's

Minay, Bea's lovely granny, enjoyed her pancakes here. She finished her plate and tried some from ours too.  Hmmm... your blood sugar granny.. 😊😊😊

Minay's wide smile, an indication of satisfaction.

Bea's cute smile, full mouth.

I shared half of my waffle to Bea and she did the same to me.  First half, the belgian waffle topped with banana, pecan nuts and caramel syrup; the other half, blueberry pancakes topped with vanilla ice cream.

Generations of beauty. 😊

These two big fans made me chill.

Their menu.

Forget Me Not

It's Bea's 11th birthday!

After Jun and I's work and Bea's classes, we simply celebrated the occasion at Forget Me Not restaurant along Lilac Street, SSS Village, Marikina City.

All was well except with the forgotten knorks when they gave our orders. Then, finding an ant or two in our calamares. :-(

LA Diner

After attending the Holy Mass at the St. Paul of the Cross Parish Church we went straight to LA Diner for our dinner. It's located along B. Soliven in Antipolo City, very near to Tamagoya.

Tuna Pesto (Php170)

Caesar Salad (Php145)

Pepperoni Pizza Regular (Php175)

They gave us 100% quality service such as guiding us to a parking space, opening the door for us, greeting us as we were leading into a vacant table, giving their menu once we were comfortably seated then patiently waited for our order, serving our food simultaneously, and most of all, religiously refilling our glasses of water even without asking.

We will surely go back for their food and also, particularly, for their great way of accomodating guests.

After eating here and getting a bit disappointed, I craved for Masan Garden once again!😊

Crisostomo

A Filipino cuisine restaurant in Eastwood.

Jun missed his very own crispy pata but he no longer has time to cook. We decided then to try Crisostomo. We likewise ordered baked oysters and sinigang na hipon (shrimp in tamarind soup).

Don Rafael - Classic Crispy Pata (Php550) and Elia's Choice - baked oysters with garlic, spinach and cheese (Php295)

Sinigang ni Kapitan - sinigang na hipon (Php430)

Their Crispy Pata tasted sooo good though it looked like as if it was overcooked.

Just the same, at the end, our tastebuds and tummies were very satisfied. :-)

Daddy Bertz Cafe

A cafe/restaurant along Lilac Street, SSS Village, Marikina City.

Bea tried their Chicken Parmigiana while Jun craved for Burger; as their Grilled Liempo appealed to me dearly. Our orders were all good but their Burger stood out the most. It's mouthwatering taste and aroma and visibly melting cheese tickled our eyes, taste buds and tummies as well.

Cafe Lupe

We first caught this restaurant in Guadalupe, Makati City back in 2007. We were very satisfied in terms of the taste and presentation of their food; promptness of their service; and the uniqueness of the ambiance as they were located right underneath the biggest billboard in EDSA. Having that in mind, we were excited to reminisce our dining experience then with the night's cool breeze of January in their newest Sumulong High-way, Antipolo City branch.

As we ascend the stairs towards their open air dining area, I personally felt the gradual change of temperature from coolness in the parking lot to warmness inside the restaurant. Looking around, It must have been that the cold of wind was being blocked by the wide wall behide the bar.

To continue, we guided ourselves in the available table at the veranda to enjoy the perfect panoramic view of Metro Manila evening skyline. Few minutes have passed before a waiter finally took our orders. We were made to wait anew that prompted us to make another follow-up. After a minute or two,we had one of our orders; few more minutes for the second and another full 15 minutes until all our orders were served. The food was relatively good but could have been better if they were all served simultaneously and straight from the stove. Further, menu was a bit unreasonable and steeply priced as well.

In summary, we were so disappointed that night considering that Jun and I were celebrating our nth wedding anniversary. Take this post as a warning though...think twice or even thrice before opting to visit this place.
