Vista Real Hotel

Our home in Tagaytay!

Vista Real Hotel is a 32-room Mediterranean hotel owned by 3 humble men from Marikina. It is located along Tagaytay-Calamba Road, across Citiland Condominium, very near the Aguinaldo rotonda (turn left from Aguinaldo highway).

Vista Real offers family,  deluxe and standard rooms.  Almost all have veranda with good view of Taal volcano.  A room have flat screen TV, personal refrigerator with free bottled water, complete basic toiletries and readily shower heater.

Amenities in Vista Real are pool, darts, billiard table, table tennis, and free WIFI.

Vista Real ventured with Leon's Bistro which offers their breakfast, lunch, and dinner menu. A room have 2 complimentary plated breakfast that starts at 6:00 AM up to 10:00AM. Walk-in diners are allowed.

On a personal note, we had a relaxing and homey experience on our first over night stay.  Vista Real's lobby was warmth, a reflection of friendly and peculiar reception. Next to it, the dining area, is a spacious and airy venue to peacefully enjoy a brewed coffee while reading a good book or hang-out and savor lush chow with family and friends.

Recreation area also have a lot of open space through which air can move freely while playing billiards, darts, or table tennis. Beside the dipping infinity pool is a jacuzzi with heater.

The best part, our room.  I personally love their bed. I  remembered the fluffy pillowss (pillowsss as there were 4 in a bed) and soft duvet of that Venetian in Macau.  I had a worry free good night sleep.

Club Balai Isabel

It was sunny Saturday afternoon when we arrived in Talisay Batangas for an overnight escape.

Our room's private balcony was a good site to see the panoramic view of Taal lake and Taal volcano as the sun slowly went below the horizon.

No filter. Amazing colors of sky and sun rays mirrored in the calmness of the lake.

Took a picture of the simple and clever wooden architecture of The Spousal of Mary and Joseph Chapel located inside the resort.  They have a regular mass schedule at 10:00 a.m. every Sunday.

Parish of the Immaculate Heart of Mary (Update)

God gave us a break to visit once again the Parish of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in Antipolo City.   After 5 years, huge development surprised us and we discovered then eventually realized (I think so) that this was the church where Basha and Popoy got married :-).

Do you recognize this?

How about this altar?

Harbor View

We'll never get tired of coming back here at Harbor View.  We love the calmness of the ocean; the school of small fishes jumping like tiny waves; and most of all, the sumptuous dishes served on our table.

Kilawing Tanigue (my all time favorite!)

Baked Tahong

Stuffed Grilled Squid

Bulalo

Lechon Kawali

Refreshing Sago't Gulaman

I love HARBOR VIEW :-)

Forget Me Not

It's Bea's 11th birthday!

After Jun and I's work and Bea's classes, we simply celebrated the occasion at Forget Me Not restaurant along Lilac Street, SSS Village, Marikina City.

All was well except with the forgotten knorks when they gave our orders. Then, finding an ant or two in our calamares. :-(

LA Diner

After attending the Holy Mass at the St. Paul of the Cross Parish Church we went straight to LA Diner for our dinner. It's located along B. Soliven in Antipolo City, very near to Tamagoya.

Tuna Pesto (Php170)

Caesar Salad (Php145)

Pepperoni Pizza Regular (Php175)

They gave us 100% quality service such as guiding us to a parking space, opening the door for us, greeting us as we were leading into a vacant table, giving their menu once we were comfortably seated then patiently waited for our order, serving our food simultaneously, and most of all, religiously refilling our glasses of water even without asking.

We will surely go back for their food and also, particularly, for their great way of accomodating guests.

It's Valentine's day! Almost all restaurants were fully booked. Luckily, our reservation was still accomodated by this Korean restaurant in Ugong, Pasig.

We tried their dinner buffet for P499/pax.

After eating here and getting a bit disappointed, I craved for Masan Garden once again!😊

Crisostomo

A Filipino cuisine restaurant in Eastwood.

Jun missed his very own crispy pata but he no longer has time to cook. We decided then to try Crisostomo. We likewise ordered baked oysters and sinigang na hipon (shrimp in tamarind soup).

Don Rafael - Classic Crispy Pata (Php550) and Elia's Choice - baked oysters with garlic, spinach and cheese (Php295)

Sinigang ni Kapitan - sinigang na hipon (Php430)

Their Crispy Pata tasted sooo good though it looked like as if it was overcooked.

Just the same, at the end, our tastebuds and tummies were very satisfied. :-)
