Vista Real Hotel

Our home in Tagaytay!

Vista Real Hotel is a 32-room Mediterranean hotel owned by 3 humble men from Marikina. It is located along Tagaytay-Calamba Road, across Citiland Condominium, very near the Aguinaldo rotonda (turn left from Aguinaldo highway).   

 

Vista Real offers family,  deluxe and standard rooms.  Almost all have veranda with good view of Taal volcano.  A room have flat screen TV, personal refrigerator with free bottled water, complete basic toiletries and readily shower heater. 

 

Amenities in Vista Real are pool, darts, billiard table, table tennis, and free WIFI. 

 

Vista Real ventured with Leon's Bistro which offers their breakfast, lunch, and dinner menu. A room have 2 complimentary plated breakfast that starts at 6:00 AM up to 10:00AM. Walk-in diners are allowed. 

 

On a personal note, we had a relaxing and homey experience on our first over night stay.  Vista Real's lobby was warmth, a reflection of friendly and peculiar reception. Next to it, the dining area, is a spacious and airy venue to peacefully enjoy a brewed coffee while reading a good book or hang-out and savor lush chow with family and friends. 

 

Recreation area also have a lot of open space through which air can move freely while playing billiards, darts, or table tennis. Beside the dipping infinity pool is a jacuzzi with heater. 

 

The best part, our room.  I personally love their bed. I  remembered the fluffy pillowss (pillowsss as there were 4 in a bed) and soft duvet of that Venetian in Macau.  I had a worry free good night sleep.

Summer is here! (part 3)

Bea’s first summer get-away for 2009 was in the 
God’s Love Family Farm in San Mateo, Rizal.

I had  encountered a bad experience  with a certain Ms. Cris, a Sales Executive of a well known hotel at the corner of Makati and Ayala Avenues, Makati City.  This hotel was once associated with the former military rebel  and now an elected senator of the Land. 

2010 Singapore and Kuala Lumpur - Final Day in Clark

The next day, we boarded the first flight of Air Asia going back to Manila.  We got surprised when we saw the terminal of Air Asia.  It has humongous   grounds with more than a hundred parked planes.  There were about 20 columns and on each column  were about 10 rows of Air Asia Passenger planes. With that sight alone, there was no denying  that Air Asia is such a big time airline player in Malaysia.

2010 Singapore and Kuala Lumpur - Third Day in KL

We left Singapore for Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia via the first flight of Air Asia.   This time, we departed from one of the most beautiful airports in the world, the Changi Airport.  On the onset,  we felt we were  being welcome in a first class flight because of the relaxing lounge with wall mounted TV and readily available computers with free internet access.

Bea was so excited to log-in to her Facebook account but the numerous security procedures simply made her loose her interest and patience. However,it wasn't long before she found herself trying the free foot massage machine and stayed there for the rest of our waiting time before boarding.

In the early morning of our second day in Sentosa, Singapore, we enjoyed the cold water of Siloso Beach Resort swimming pool.  Bea loves to swim especially with her very special playmate, her papa Jun.

In the early months of 2010, Air Asia and Tiger Airways offered a promo fare going to selected Asian countries.  Jun, Bea and I excitedly visited the respective websites and was able to book online for the 3 of us to Singapore via Tiger Airways for only P11K, then, via Air Asia, to Kuala Lumpur for only P4.5K; and back to Manila for another P4.5K.  Our total airfare of P20K was almost a half cheaper compared to our Cebu Pacific airfare in going to Hong Kong and Macau in 2008.    

2009 Summer in Cebu and Tagbilaran

It was Bea's second time to travel via plane and this time it's via Philippine Airlines (promo fare of P10,000++ for the 3 of us) bound to Cebu.  This was a summer get-a-way of the T.Leon family as well as my nth =) birthday celebration.

Hotel Experiences

As I was planning for Bea's birthday celebration/vacation in Hong Kong, I prepared ourselves to gain more confidence and get familiarized with the different classes of hotels in the Philippines.  Fortunately, opportunities came at the right time as Jun and I received complimentary and discounted vouchers from a four-star hotel up to the  most luxurious and upscale hotels in Makati and Manila. 

7th Birthday - Day 3

Our day three (3) started in the street of Goldfish/Flower/Bird Garden Market.  My husband, Bea and I were so amazed with the lovely, colorful, hard to find corals and  fishes we were watching in huge tanks.  I tried to take a picture of Bea with the coral reef tank as a background; but after one shot, I was advised that taking pictures was not allowed. Hence, we simply went from one fish tank to another.  Then afterwards, we took our pictures outside the stores and on the streets.    

7th Birthday - Day 2

Bea's birthday didn't end there.  We still had 3 more exciting and surprising days for our lovely Bea.

This is the beginning of another wonderful Day 2 in the land of Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse and other famous Disney characters at Hong Kong Disneyland Resort (Tickets:  Adult HK$295 / Child HK$210 already good for 2 days since we checked in @ Disney Hollywood Hotel).

7th Birthday

My husband, Jun, and I surprised Bea on her 7th birthday by bringing her to a place every child would probably dream of going - at Hong Kong Disneyland.
